TRIUMPH’S Visitor Centre has welcomed its 100,000th visitor to the Hinckley factory since the gates opened in November 2017.

The visitor centre at the Triumph Factory is a Pandora’s box of exquisitely exhibited and flawlessly restored or original motorcycles from Triumph’s past, present, and future. They’ve got everything in there, from land-speed record bikes to one-off customs built for great and the good of the UK motorcycle industry.

But for me, the crowning glory of the entire tour is the stunning machine that has become probably one of the most iconic motorcycles in movie history. The bike that made the iconic jump from the film The Great Escape. The bike has been lightly restored to the condition it was in during filming, with some of the original parts as used in the film still in place. Even the rear tyre of the bike is the very same tyre that stunt rider and racer Bud Ekins used when he made the jump to near freedom! You don’t get much more ‘legit’ than that!

Aside from the exhibits inside the factory, you can check out the Avenue of Legends that leads to the front door of the building. It’s a whos-who of anybody and everybody who has played a part in the success of this iconic British Brand.

How to get to the Triumph Visitor Centre

The Triumph visitor centre is free to enter and is located at the Triumph factory in Hinckley. Right next door to the factory is the 1902 café and if you feel like it, you can even book a factory tour and see the latest Triumph motorcycles rolling off the production line.

The Triumph Visitor Experience and visitor centre is at Triumph's main factory site which is located at Normandy Way, Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 3BZ, on the A47 between Leicester and Coventry.  The site is within easy reach from the M1, M6 and M69 motorways.

When using a Sat Nav, our postcode will lead you to a nearby industrial estate on Dodwells Road/A47. Where possible, please search in advance on a digital map service to help you locate ‘Triumph Motorcycles Factory Visitor Experience’.

From the South, please proceed on the A47 away from the A5, towards Earl Shilton until you reach a roundabout which signposts ‘Motorcycle Factory’.
