The one-off motorcycle show Speedshop could get a series if the iPlayer views are high enough

Titch Cormack Speedshop

A one-off show following an ex-special forces soldier and custom bike builder and his crew of motorcycle restoration experts could be in line for a full series return.

The first show was aired on Sunday 12th January, a prime-time slot for any show with even a hint of a motorcycle to it. The story followed Titch Cormack and his team, as they set about building an adapted motorcycle for an amputee soldier. Later in the show he and attempts to take on a tough off-road ride across the Alps on the newly built machine.

In his special forces unit, one of Titch’s specialties was mobility, which is getting almost any type of vehicle through almost any type of environment.

Titch left a 10-year career in UK special forces (Special Boat Service) to follow his dream - designing, building and selling custom vintage motorcycles.

The show was down as purely a one off although, as is normally the case with this type of thing, if viewer feedback and the number of views on the BBC’s iPlayer pass muster, the team might get a full series.

The team at Speedshop have even taken to Twitter to try and ramp up some support for the show.

They said:

‘Please share as we need the iPlayer views... otherwise no series.  Thank you. #speedshop #BuiltForAdventure #bbc2 #custommotorcycles #bobber #chopper #flattracker #caferacer #scrambler #hotrod #restomod #cars #royalmarines #parachuteregiment #specialforces #uksf #Operator’

So if you liked what you saw last Sunday, why not watch it again! Introduce it to your friends and even leave it on to keep the family pet amused while you’re at work!
