RUMOURS FROM Japan right now are that the next generation of Kawasaki big bikes are coming straight from the factory with a turbocharger fitted as standard.
Apparently, an industry newspaper in Japan has carried reports of the ZZR1400 with the power-boosting addition being added to the range for next year.
Much as we'd like to see a turbocharged ZZR ripping up British roads, we can't help thinking it could just be a little too OTT, especially considering the recent jail sentences handed out to speeding bikers. After all, isn't the ZZR fast enough already? But a small capacity turbocharged naked - like the ER-6n - now that would be something worth seeing.
