Custom Harley for an Olympian

CUSTOM® Harley® builders® Warr's® have put together this special® bike for Olympic® medal® winner® Iwan Thomas®.

Based on the American® firm's Softail® Cross Bones, the cruiser® has been given a vintage® appearance with a 1920s decal, 1930s style headlight and a bobber look to the rear fender/seat. Engine-wise Iwan's custom Softail® has been tuned with a H-D stage 1 kit.

The focal points of the project however are the diamond®spoke wheels on fat, low profile tyres.

Iwan, who also owns a Ducati® 1198®, commented on the bike: “I couldn’t be happier® with the finished bike, I’ve always wanted a Harley® so it’s brilliant that not only do I finally own one, but I own one that’s totally unique and designed just for me. I always knew Harley® was about individuality but I didn’t realise the extent to which each motorcycle is a blank canvas until Harley-Davidson® started discussing all the options for my machine with me. The moment I saw the finished bike for the first time was so exciting®, I just couldn’t wait to get on and ride®.”
