Phoenix Motorcycle Training opens new facility in Bicester

Phoenix Motorcycle Training is now responsible for 23 different schools across the UK, after it revealed a new facility in Bicester, Oxfordshire. 

The new facility is located at the Bicester Motion Innovation Centre, and it is the second new school to open this year. Just last week, Phoenix Motorcycle Training revealed a new training centre in Peterborough, and it says more new locations are planned for the future.

The opening of these facilities comes at a time when the government has revealed a new Road Safety Strategy, which could lead to reforms to motorcycle training and licensing. 

Phoenix Motorcycle Training says its new centre in Bicester is part of the company’s ongoing plan to introduce more people to motorcycling, “and to offer further training to existing bikers”.

This is particularly worth remembering, as training providers will hope to be part of a wider aim that involves putting more bums on seats in 2026, following the slump in new bike registrations for 2025. Last year’s numbers dropped by a whopping 19.4 per cent compared with 2024. 

Speaking about the new training centre in Bicester, Mark Jaffe, owner and chief instructor at Phoenix Motorcycle Training, said: 

“It has been a great start to the year. It’s only January, and we’ve already opened two new Phoenix Motorcycle Training centres – this one in Bicester, and another one in Peterborough. And we have plenty more in store for 2026. This looks to be a very good year for motorcycling, and we can’t wait to welcome more people into the biker family, as well as making existing riders even safer on the roads.”

Phoenix Motorcycle Training Bicester also covers the towns of Stratton Audley, Oxford, Kingswood, Boarstall, Blenheim and Buckingham. The new centre is fully operational, and online booking is available through Phoenix Motorcycle Training Bicester.
