The Harley-Davidson Music Contest will be open to more brands in 2026, with performers from the UK and Germany now in with a chance of competing at some of the company’s biggest motorcycle events.

The competition will see bands from five nations compete for the chance to be selected, with fans able to vote for their favourites.

The competition’s expansion means bands from the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, will compete against each other.

Winning bands will get to perform at three Harley-Davidson events, which are the Harley-Davidson Spring Rally, in Senigallia, Italy, the European H.O.G. Rally, in Cascais, Portugal, and its European Bike Week, in Faaker See, Austria.

Last year’s winners included ‘Franck & Damien’, from France, a band named ‘Atwood’, from Italy, and ‘Stoned at Pompeii’, from Spain. These bands took to the stage at the Harley-Davidson Euro Festival in front of more than 30,000 attendees.

According to the American company, “Harley-Davidson is giving emerging artists a powerful platform to reach new audiences and add their energy to the vibrant atmosphere that makes its rallies so iconic”.

As well as the overall expansion, Harley-Davidson has also confirmed it is introducing a “broader fan-voting” system. Music fans will be able to vote for their favourite band online, starting 20 March. The winners will then be announced on 16 April.

Bands interested in taking part in the competition can find out more information on how to submit their entries on the official Harley-Davidson Music Contest website.
