This 2016 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim, which featured in the 2023 Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny film, is heading for auction in the UK.

The bike will go under the hammer on Sunday, 19 April, at The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at Shuttleworth 2026, which is being organised by Iconic Auctioneers.

While this particular model is probably best-known for its role in the Indiana Jones movie, it has also been owned by Pinewood Studios and customised to resemble a 1960s New York Police Department Electra Glide.

The Softail motorcycle was first introduced in the 1980s before evolving over the following years. Harley would eventually go on to produce the Softail Slim, which was known for its big Milwaukee-Eight V-Twin engine.

Presented in a retro customised 1960s Police Bike style, this 2016 Softail Slim is UK-registered and comes complete with documented provenance including a Pinewood Studio invoice. The bike is showing 7,000 miles, according to Iconic Auctioneers.

The bike’s new owner will also receive some original parts and panniers that were used in the Indiana Jones film.

Launched in 2012, Harley-Davidson would ultimately go on to stop production of the Softail Slim in 2021. The last model made by H-D claimed to produce 106.2 Ib-ft of torque, while also being 16kg lighter than some previous Softail Slim bikes.

The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at Shuttleworth auction is also set to feature a 1990 Norton F1 Rotary motorcycle, a 2010 Suzuki GSX-R1000 Anniversary edition, a 2006 Ducati 1000LE Paul Smart Replica, and a 2023 Moto Guzzi V7 Guzzi Palace model, which is number 47 of 50 that were produced worldwide.
