Overall Review

Bought my z1300 from a decent builder bloke...first thing i did was change the oil...first thing it did was rattle..so took it to grubby! ( you know who you are!!) he told me it was one they first uncrated, and it had been a tooth out on the valve timing from new!,since it got a caning!!so after an expensive and extensive rebuild we were off.... Bloody thing! off to spain new tyre and away..20mpg givin it some!! slow down..(could have gone on a CB250) go 45ish, stopped in lloret as people do, people cooing all around this monster thing...by the time i,d enjoyed a bit of sun sea , and er sand..bloody tank had got so hot fuel had all evaporated!!so got some fuel.. would it start noway you see this engine neede so many volts to crank the motor ,there wasnt enough of them to provide a spark!! unless conditions were ideal, and whats more having no kickstart, pushing it was difficult... Anyway, escaped speed cops on 400 sanglas singles...had to go offroad a bit.....did it! But ...and it is a but, the bloody tyre was worn out, no chance of gettin a new one in Spain at this time! by the time i got to england it was a slick!

Strengths

looks..went ok

Weaknesses

Start dammit everyone is watching!!!...oi mate give us a push!
