Zontes has revealed a long list of updates to its ZT368-G ETC maxi-scooter for 2026, which now boasts a ride-by-wire throttle system, a fresh set of colours, and heated grips as standard.

The heavily revamped model will be available in green, grey, black and sand-coloured variants, however, the new set of colours are only the beginning of the changes.

The main technical change sees the introduction of ride-by-wire, which will give the maxi-scooter a more measured throttle response, offering more benefit when it comes to city riding, especially. Zontes has also made traction control a standard feature of the ZT368-G ETC.

The technical updates don’t end there, as the right and left handlebar controls have been redesigned and given a new layout.

As well as the new tech, Zontes has put rider comfort at the top of its priorities, with heated grips and a heated seat now included as standard.

At the heart of the maxi-scooter is a 368cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, which is capable of delivering 38.1bhp at 7,500rpm and 29.5 Ib-ft of torque at 6,000rpm.

As for the chassis, the Zontes ZT368-G ETC makes use of a 41mm MZKS upside-down fork which offers adjustable rebound and compression damping. At the rear are two shock absorbers with five levels of adjustable preload. Additionally, the ZT368-G ETC comes with a seat height of 795mm and a kerb weight of 197kg.

In terms of competitors, the Zontes ZT368-G ETC could have its eyes on the likes of the Yamaha XMAX 300 Tech MAX+, which also offers heated grips and a heated seat as standard features.

With all of that said, the ZT368-G ETC’s shouldn’t be considered a direct rival necessarily, because its bigger engine delivers over 11bhp more than the 27.6bhp XMAX 300 Tech MAX+.
