2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track is track-only and limited to 100 bikes

KTM has taken its flagship Super Duke off the road and onto the circuit, with a new, lighter, track-only RR limited to just 100 bikes worldwide.

KTM has pulled the covers off a track-only version of its flagship naked, with the 2026 KTM 1390 Super Duke RR Track marking the first time the Super Duke name has been taken off the road entirely.

As the name suggests, this is a circuit-focused machine built without any intention of road use. Lights, mirrors and other road-going parts are gone, with the bike instead developed to meet FIM track regulations. It’s a limited-run model too, with just 100 units being built worldwide.

The RR Track is based on the existing 1390 super Duke platform, but has been put on a strict diet. KTM says it comes in nine kilos lighter than the road-going RR and 20kg down on the standard R. That’s been achieved by removing unnecessary components and adding lighter, race-focused parts across the bike.

Bodywork is largely carbon fibre, while forged magnesium wheels help trim unsprung mass. There’s also a full titanium Akrapovič Evolution Line exhaust system, titanium fasteners and a pared-back electronics package compared to the road bike.

Suspension and braking have also been upgraded with track use in mind. WP Pro Components hardware is fitted, drawing on KTM’s MotoGP programme, while braking is handled by a Superbike-spec Brembo setup. Tyres are Michelin Power Performance slicks as standard.

The end result is a machine built purely for track riding, with no concessions made for road use or everyday practicality. It’s also assembled at KTM’s headquarters in Mattighofen, with a level of specification that goes beyond what’s typically seen on the brand’s production bikes.

KTM says the RR Track is aimed at riders who want a ready-made circuit package straight from the factory, rather than modifying a road bike themselves. And while that does sound kinda cool, it also takes a bit of the fun out of the whole act of getting a track bike!

Of the 100 bikes being produced, five are expected to come to the UK. Price is set at £32,999, and orders are open now through authorised KTM dealers.
