Yamaha and Focused Events launch guided Tracer Experience tours
New guided touring programme lets riders tackle routes in Wales, the Highlands and beyond on fully insured 2026 Tracer models.

Yamaha UK has teamed up with Focused Events to launch a new guided touring programme that will see riders exploring some of the UK’s best roads aboard the latest Tracer 7 and Tracer 9 models.
Called the Yamaha Tracer Experience, the events are being run by a new division of Focused Events known as Focused Motorcycle Tours. Riders book onto a fully organised trip and spend several days riding a brand-new 2026 Tracer models, with routes, accommodation and logistics all taken care of.

Five different routes are available at launch, each designed to highlight a different corner of the UK. The three-day options cover up to around 600 miles and include the Welsh Cymru Tour, the National Parks Tour and the Southwest Peninsula Tour. Riders wanting a little more seat time can opt for either the five-day Scottish Highlands Tour or the Scottish and Northern Ireland Gaelic Tour, which stretch mileage to around 900 miles each.

Groups are limited to 10 riders, accompanied by two professional guide riders. Prices start at £1,575 for the three-day tours and £2,695 for the five-day trips.

Each booking includes the use of a fully insured 2026 Tracer 7 GT, with riders able to choose between the standard gearbox or Yamaha’s Y-AMT automated manual transmission. Those wanting a little more performance can upgrade to the Tracer 9 GT, which is also available with Y-AMT. If anything, the tours offer curious riders the chance to experience the Yamaha Y-AMT system in a more extended, real-world setting than simply getting a bike from a dealership for a test ride.
Speaking about the new tours, Jeff Turner, Marketing Experience & Events Manager, Yamaha Motor UK, said:
“Last year I was lucky enough to ride to Slovenia on a Tracer 9 GT and also tour Montenegro on a Tracer and I will never forget the memories create by these trips. Touring is such a great way to enjoy motorcycling but not everyone has the right bike or the time to arrange this type of trip. The Tracer really is the perfect sport tourer, light, powerful and with great handling and an amazing electronics package - so to create a new UK touring experience using Tracers was, for me, the perfect scenario and now with Focused Motorcycle Tours, we’re giving riders the opportunity to experience motorcycle touring in its purest form.
“This is a very professional, manufacturer-supported touring experience designed to remove the barriers. You don’t need to own a bike. You don’t need to plan routes or logistics. You simply arrive and ride.
“In partnership with Focused Motorcycle Tours, we’re proud to deliver a premium, fully inclusive experience that showcases the very best of UK roads on the latest 2026 Tracer models.”

All the bikes used for the tours come fully set up for touring, with hard panniers, heated grips, cruise control, adjustable screens, rider modes and navigation connectivity. Seat height options and suspension adjustments are available to better suit individual riders, and extra kit such as luggage, riding gear and airbag vests can also be hired.
Fuel, accommodation and meals are all included within the package, allowing riders to focus purely on the ride.
The tours are open to anyone with a full UK Category A motorcycle licence, or an equivalent international licence, and riders do not need to own a Yamaha to take part. Bookings opened on 4 March through the Focused Motorcycle Tours website.
