THIS IS THE brutal moment a motorcyclist collided with a cow, after taking his eyes off the road to pose for a selfie.
Filmed in Tamil Nadu, southern India, by a pillion on another bike, the selfie video shows a trio of small-capacity bikes travelling closely together along a busy road.
The rider of the middle machine perches with his legs across the tank and reclines against his pillion. As if this isn’t dangerous enough, the helmet-less boy takes his eyes from the road in order to smile charmingly at the camera.
But he fails to see the cow in his path until the last minute, and the motorcycle collides heavily with the innocent animal, sending the rider and passenger careering to the ground.
The pair reportedly escaped with only minor injuries, but the poor cow’s fate in unknown. It is unkown if the rider will face any criminal charges for his recklessness or injuring the animal.
