Launched in 2024, the Guerrilla 450 makes use of a 452cc single-cylinder Sherpa engine, which produces 39bhp at 8,000rpm and 29.5 Ib-ft of torque at 5,500rpm.

So far a total of six Guerrilla 450s have arrived at Royal Enfield’s training partners, which includes Drayton Croft Motorcycles in Hinckley, Kings Two Wheel Centre in Kidlington, and Cooperb Motorcycles in Wellingborough.

They are the first dealerships to receive Guerrilla 450 motorcycles for their training schools under the new ‘Ready to Ride’ programme, although Royal Enfield is planning to offer more Guerrilla 450 machines in the future to aid with new rider development.

A key feature of the scheme is its all-in-one monthly payment, which Royal Enfield says “covers the motorcycle, riding apparel, accessories, and the A2 licence, making riding more accessible for those unable to cover large upfront costs”.

Royal Enfield also says that the new initiative “underlines Royal Enfield’s commitment to provide exceptional rider experiences for all riders, breaking down a barrier to entry for new riders”.

The new ‘Ready to Ride’ finance package is provided by Royal Enfield Finance, which is underwritten by CA Auto Finance UK trading, a branch of the Crédit Agricole Auto Bank Group.

CA Auto Finance UK developed the finance scheme and has already begun offering the finance option through Royal Enfield’s initial group of dealers and training schools.

The new ‘Ready to Ride’ finance and training school package is more than just that, as it’s part of Royal Enfield’s broader strategy plan to develop grassroots motorcycling in the UK. That’s because the company also has other experiences and training initiatives, such as the Slide School and Build Train Race programmes.

George Cheeseman, Region Manager - UK - International Markets at Royal Enfield, said:

“The Guerrilla 450 is a fantastic motorcycle that perfectly embodies the spirit of 'pure motorcycling.' By providing these bikes to our partner riding schools, we are helping to create a new generation of motorcyclists who start their journey on a fun, stylish, and user-friendly motorcycle”.
