Yamaha has confirmed registrations for its special ‘Parade Lap’ at the upcoming BSB Brands Hatch round are now open, which is set to feature a special livery aboard Bradley Ray’s McAMS Yamaha R1.

Yamaha revealed plans to bring back an iconic livery back in April, with a series of social media polls set to allow fans to vote for their preferred option.

The new livery is set to be revealed as a celebration of the British Superbike Championship’s 30th anniversary.

Yamaha is one of the most successful manufacturers, not just in domestic racing here in the UK, but on the world stage in both MotoGP and WorldSBK, too. But on this occasion, the special livery will take on a BSB-theme, although it's still unclear what the bike will look like.

Since 1996, Yamaha has won ten riders’ championships in BSB, with Niall Mackenzie responsible for three of those title wins. The most recent BSB champion with Yamaha was Kyle Ryde, who won both the 2024 and 2025 titles aboard an R1 before switching to Ducati machinery in 2026.

All we know about the special livery so far is that it’s set to use one of Yamaha’s previous race-winning colour schemes as its inspiration.

The parade lap is open to all current Yamaha owners, who will get the chance to ride alongside some of the company’s most famous BSB riders.

The 2026 Brands Hatch BSB round will take place on 17-19 July, with the parade lap scheduled for Saturday, 18 July.

People interested in taking part can find out more about the event, and how to apply,  by heading to the official MSV website.
