Late lunch knocks Lorenzo performance
When an excuse wasn't even needed, Lorenzo pulls a suspect one from the hat

JORGE LORENZO had a strange explanation for his 'below-par' performance at last weekend’s Indianapolis GP, where he finished second, but unable to challenge winner Dani Pedrosa.
“I misunderstood the time of the race and I ate lunch too late,” he said “Also it was hotter than I expected (the lunch or the outside temperature? - Ed), and I did not have a drinking tube system in my back hump. I felt really bad in the race, but I am better now.”
Clearly it's lunch selection, not just tyre selection that can stifle your lap times.
