Midge Smart #53 ... solid 2nd place at Croft
JAMES WEBB took an impressive win in the Virgin Media R6 Cup at Croft earlier today.
After some aggressive riding, which saw Webb out of the saddle on more than one occasion, the likeable youngster overtook Visordown's Midge Smart, who had been the front runner for the majority of the 10-lap race. Third spot was secured by David Paton, who also challenged Smart in the closing stages of the race.
Series leader, BJ Toal, could only manage a fourth, but still has a commanding lead of 25 points from his nearest rival, Midge Smart.
