Defending British Superbike Champions Paul Bird Motorsport have revealed VisionTrack will become its brand-new title sponsor for the 2020 BSB season.

The hugely successful team dominated the 2019 BSB Championship with Scott Redding and Josh Brookes clinching 21 race wins from 28 starts, but did so with the knowledge it would be losing its erstwhile title backers Be Wiser.

Nonetheless, PBM has secured a new backer in the form of VisionTrack, a Kent-based video and telematics provider specialising in cloud-based solutions.

The team, which will compete with Brookes and new signing Christian Iddon, will be known as VisionTrack Ducati and likely run with an entirely new livery.

“Being massive supporters of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, the opportunity to join the most successful team in the history of the series was too good to pass by, so we are delighted to be teaming up with Paul Bird Motorsport,” said VisionTrack Managing Director Simon Marsh.

“We are a rapidly growing company and we look forward to the exposure both trackside and on TV, with the VisionTrack Ducati riders being hopefully leading from the front again, which makes it a perfect match and partnership for 2020.”

“We are delighted to welcome Simon and the rest of the VisionTrack team to PBM Ducati for the 2020 season and we hope to continue our success with them on board,” added team owner Paul Bird.

“There’s a lot of pressure on us to deliver again after such a successful season in 2019 but we have the riders, the bikes, the team and importantly, the commercial partners to allow us to do that. We are now focussing on our pre-season test schedule to ensure we arrive at Silverstone in shape to defend our title.”
