Dean Harrison will return for a second season in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship with the Silicone Engineering Kawasaki squad for 2019.

With his 2019 road racing plans already confirmed, Harrison sticks with Silicone Engineering Kawasaki for the next BSB campaign after impressing during this year which culminated in three points finishes from the final six races.

“I really enjoyed the racing in 2018 and I’m really happy that we are doing more rounds of BSB next year,” Harrison said. “I think the proof is in the pudding and the results we had this year showed that racing against the top-class riders in BSB has helped massively.

“We had a really good year and I love our team; we were getting closer to the top ten this year and I think that is a realistic goal for 2019 and if we can do that it would be great, I would be happy and so would the lads in the garage.”

“We have delivered one of our most successful seasons of racing this year and that is something that we obviously are looking to build on again in 2019,” Paul Iddon, team manager, added.

“The additional track time, against some seriously good competition we have had in BSB, has been one of the key factors in our team’s development this year. We are now looking ahead to the New Year and moving forward once again.”
