Graeme Irwin joins brothers Glenn and Andrew in securing a spot on the 2020 British Superbike Championship grid aboard a Team 64 Kawasaki
There will be three Irwin brothers competing in the 2020 British Superbike Championship after Graeme secured a deal with Team 64 Motorsport for the new season.
The former British Motocross Champion competed in the National Superstock 1000 series in 2019, picking up a best result of tenth place at Cadwell Park, and will progress all the way into the Superbike class for 2020 on a Kawasaki.
The 28-year old joins his brothers Andrew Irwin and Glenn Irwin on the 2020 BSB grid. They will be partnered together in the factory-backed Honda Racing team.
“I’m incredibly excited to be riding the Team 64 Kawasaki in the British Superbike Championship. One of my aims was to work with a crew chief who has also raced and Aaron fits the bill perfectly.
“Of course, I’ll be up against my brothers. We’re a very close family and respect one another but when the lights go out we all have a job to do!”
Team 64 Principal, Aaron Zanotti commented: “Myself and the team are delighted and really looking forward to working with Graeme, he has an impressive pedigree and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together this season.”
