The Prodigy Star Collaborates on Custom Bike Build
Renard Motorcycle has united with The Prodigy frontman, Maxim, to reveal a one-of-a-kind custom motorbike.

The late Keith Flint might have been the most well-known bike fan from the band The Prodigy, although it turns out Maxim, the group's current lead vocalist, is also into his bikes.
He’s teamed up with Renard Motorcycles to create what is called ‘Wings of Freedom’ and described as a “one-of-one motorcycle that transcends engineering to become a rolling piece of art.”

The bike is being revealed at MotoArto, taking place at The Bike Shed in Shoreditch, July 3 to 5. The bike will then be sold for *checks press release* £100,000. The bike, which isn’t pictured sadly, features a number of bespoke details created by The Prodigy frontman, including the painted feathers on the tank. Allan Kampus, founder of Renard Motorcycles, describes the bike as creating “True harmony emerges when even the most subtle elements enhance the experience, without overwhelming its essential character".

While the bike isn’t shown in the images we have, and as no details of it are provided, we are a little in the dark as to what it is precisely. We can, though, have a decent stab at it, as Renard specialises in custom builds based mostly on old airhead BMW boxer twins. That sounds like a fairly tired old idea, and while airhead cafe racers and customs are two-a-penny, Renard’s bikes are a little bit more special than that.
For starters, these aren’t some slap-dash custom builds created from tired old commuter bikes that were previously only fit for the scrap heap. Renards builds are true ‘restomod’ creations, where the bike is rebuilt using modern parts and materials which are encased in the bike’s classical form. Take the Renard R100, for instance. While its silhouette is almost identical to that of a standard air-cooled BMW boxer engine, what lies beneath is almost always completely modern and upgraded.

“This motorbike isn’t just a machine,” Maxim explained. “It’s a canvas. It’s delicacy meeting force, which challenges our perception of what a motorcycle can be. It’s not just about rebellion or motion; it’s about fragility, transformation, and unexpected beauty.”
Joining Renard at the event will be Langan, which will be revealing its new Lightspeed model to the world for the first time.
