Taylor Mackenzie and Danny Webb want to help the paddock find staff

The Paddock Network launches as a single, central platform for teams, riders and paddock staff to find jobs, talent and opportunities across all levels of motorsport.

A new platform aimed at fixing one of motorsport’s most persistent problems — finding the right people at the right time — has launched today.

The Paddock Network, created by former National Superstock champion Taylor Mackenzie and current FIM Endurance World Championship rider Danny Webb, is designed to centralise the chaotic process of hiring riders, mechanics, engineers, media staff and other paddock personnel. Until now, most teams have relied on Facebook posts, WhatsApp messages and word of mouth to fill roles at every level of the sport.

Both founders say the site has been built around the real-world issues paddock workers and teams face. It’s also intended to open the doors to newcomers. Mackenzie and Webb say they regularly heard from fans who had no idea how to take their first steps into racing. The platform aims to make those opportunities visible for the first time.

“Everyone in racing knows how chaotic this process can be,” Mackenzie said. “If a mechanic becomes free or a rider is looking for a seat, there has never been a central place to go. We’ve built The Paddock Network to fix that.”

Users can create profiles and upload CVs, whether they’re riders, mechanics, data engineers, media staff, videographers or hospitality crew. Teams can list openings from club racing all the way to world championship level.

The idea stems from the founders’ own experience — riders suddenly losing seats, junior racers struggling to get noticed without management, or teams urgently hunting for a truck driver, data engineer or videographer for a single event. Historically, these chances were scattered across social media, if advertised at all.

“We want to build the missing link in motorsport,” Webb said. “Whether it’s a British Superbike team looking for weekend mechanics, a Moto3 team filling a workshop job, or a junior rider trying to get noticed, this is a place where everyone can finally connect.”

The platform goes live with several roles already listed, including a full-time workshop position with Honda Racing UK, a mechanic role at McAMS Yamaha, and a full-time Moto3 workshop job in Spain with MLav Racing.

The Paddock Network aims to professionalise and streamline hiring across the sport, giving riders a proper place to showcase themselves and teams a clearer way to search for talent.
