Zero Motorcycles reveals impressive growth figures for 2025
Zero Motorcycles has revealed its year-over-year retail sales grew by 89 per cent in North America, in 2025.

Zero Motorcycles enjoyed huge growth in 2025, and the American company says its new XE and XB electric dirtbikes played a “critical role”.
Most of the company’s growth came in North America, where it achieved a year-over-year retail sales increase of 89 per cent. While that number was considerably smaller in Europe, Zero Motorcycles still achieved a 17 per cent year-over-year retail sales increase.
Zero says its growth was “driven by sustained demand across core markets and the introduction of more accessible models with Zero’s new XB and XE.”
Zero also expanded its global footprint in 2025, which resulted in its dealership network growing to more than 250 locations worldwide. It also increased the amount of dealerships it has in North America by 40 per cent.
The electric startup has confirmed that retail sales from its full-size model line-up increased by 28 per cent in 2025 compared to 2024. Zero’s new X Line accounted for more than 30 per cent of total sales in North America and 16 per cent of its total sales in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific). The company also claims to have achieved 491 per cent sales growth for the month of December, in North America, compared to the same time period in 2024.

The XB uses a 2.4kWh battery to produce 10bhp and a massive 275Ib-ft of torque. The bike’s range lasts around 40 miles at continuous rolling speeds of 31mph, while the XE has a range of 65 miles, again at 31mph. The more expensive XE model also produces 21bhp and a whopping 468 Ib-ft of torque.
The battery’s recharge time is slightly different for the two models, with the XB taking around three hours to complete a full recharge. For the XE, you will be looking at a charge time of around five hours. The batteries on both models can also be swapped out for new ones.
Speaking about the company’s growth, Zero Motorcycles CEO Pierrer-Martin Bos, said:
“2025 was a defining year for Zero Motorcycles. We expanded our global footprint, grew sales and welcomed more riders into electric mobility than ever before – clear proof that our products and vision continue to resonate worldwide.”
