A new teaser video has been released for the Honda Hawk 11

A second teaser video for the Honda Hawk 11 has been released by Honda, showcasing new details.

Honda Hawk 11, second teaser.

THE second teaser video for the Honda Hawk 11 reveals a number of new details about the bike, and gives us a better look at the aesthetics.

Perhaps the detail of most note is that the Hawk 11 will use the same steel cradle chassis design as the Africa Twin, from which the 1084cc twin-cylinder motor is also taken. This means the Hawk 11 will be the fourth of Honda’s bikes to make use of the engine which debuted in the Africa Twin, after the CMX1100 Rebel and NT1100 also used the same powerplant.

With the engine for the Hawk 11 confirmed, we can expect 101 horsepower from the new neo cafe racer, as well as 104Nm of torque. In addition, if the parallels to the Africa Twin are followed further than the engine and chassis design, it can be assumed that the power will be delivered to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual, with the potential for a DCT option.

There is also a limited view of the front suspension, which appears to show upside down forks not dissimilar to those seen on the NT1100.

Aesthetically speaking, the bike seems to be taking the ‘modern classic’ approach you might expect. From the rocket cowl front fairing design to the retro, circular mirrors and headlamp, the Hawk 11 will definitely be a bike which points to the past with its visuals.

This second teaser also announces that the bike will be unveiled to the public at the Osaka Motorcycle Show on 19 March 2022. So, in 10 days, we will have the full picture of the Honda Hawk 11.
