Intermot 2014: Yamaha release MT-07 ‘Moto Cage’ edition

Middleweight naked gets stunt-inspired add-ons

YAMAHA has released a new variant of the MT-07 called the Moto Cage.

The bike will be powered by the same 74hp 689cc parallel-twin but gets a host of stunt-inspired parts including frame-mounted engine guards, a bash plate, and ‘knuckle protectors’.

An adjustable fly screen has been fitted, along with a newly designed passenger seat and radiator guards finished in red.

The Moto Cage comes in a matt grey base colour and will feature red graphics on the tank and tail unit along with a number of red chassis components and protective stickers. It also comes fitted with different coloured wheels, red at the front, and black at the rear.

The MT-07 Moto Cage will be available from November 2014 with pricing to be announced.
