THE GULF colours are synonymous with fast cars of the 70s, and evoke many a fond memory among petrolheads.

And now the eye-catching colour scheme is making a comeback, in celebration of a new technological and commercial partnership between Gulf Europe and Mooof NV, Bullit Motorcycles parent company.

Limited edition versions of the 125cc Hero and Spirit models will be produced in the Gulf Racing baby blue and orange colour scheme, with just 250 of the scrambler-styled model, and 150 of the café racer to be produced and sold across Europe. Pre-orders are now open through Bullit dealers.

As well as a unique livery, each machine will boast a host of upgraded parts over the standard models and comes with a commemorative Gulf watch.

Bullit riders will also be able to benefit from the partnership, with Gulf Europe now providing its lubricants to be used across the Bullit range.

Bullit UK Brand Manager Henry Maplethorpe said: “This is a very exciting new partnership for Mooof NV and Bullit Motorcycles. Gulf Oil has over 100 years of experience and its products are trusted by millions of customers every day, so we’re very pleased to be able to offer our own customers the opportunity to purchase Gulf Motorcycle Oil through our dealer network.

“The Limited Edition Hero and Spirit machines look fantastic in the Gulf Racing colour scheme and I’m sure they will be very popular with fans in the U.K. and across Europe.”
