LS2 Unveils New ‘Dragon’ Sport Touring Helmet
LS2 has introduced a new sport-touring lid in the form of its forged carbon ‘Dragon’ model

Motorcycle helmet maker LS2 has unveiled a new premium sport-touring ‘Dragon’ forged carbon lid which comes with a price tag of £349,99.
The forged carbon used by LS2 was originally developed by Lamborghini and the Callaway Golf Company, and it’s created by mixing chopped fibres of carbon with resin and then pressing them into shape.
The advantage of using multi-directional fibres means it delivers up to five times the strength of traditional woven carbon, while also increasing impact resistance without adding weight.
The Dragon forged carbon lid weighs just a mere 1450 grams (1.5kg), and its shell comes in three outer sizes. Forged Carbon is used throughout the Dragon’s construction, including the ventilation ports at the chin, forehead and exhausts out the back.
The 3D visor is set in a wide aperture, and it also incorporates a quick-release system. Further features include a Pinlock 120 MaxVision anti-fog insert, which is included as standard, along with a breath guard, plus a drop-down sun shield.
The new Dragon helmet gets an antimicrobial and anti-odour X-Static Silver Fabric liner, which is fully removable and washable and uses laser-cut foam inserts that follow the natural head shape for better comfort over long distances.
To no surprise, it’s ECE 22.06 certified, and the ACU Gold label can be found at the rear. It also boasts Emergency Release System cheek pads, a reinforced chin strap with Double D-Ring fastening, multi-density EPS impact absorption, and reflective safety patches.
Finally, the premium lid can be paired with LS2’s voice-operated Bluetooth by Cardo 4X Intercom. The LS2 Dragon comes in a Gloss Forged Carbon finish and is available in sizes ranging from XS to 3XL.
