Norton's delivery woes make headlines

BBC News picks up on firm's failures to get bikes out to customers

FEW British bikers can have anything but goodwill for the attempts being made to return Norton to the position it once held as a leading motorcycle manufacturer.

However, the reborn firm's problems with its supply chain and difficulties in delivering bikes on schedule are already well recognised among owners and prospective buyers and have now even been picked up by the BBC. Reporting from the NEC show, the BBC highlighted the case of one customer who had to use debt collectors to reclaim his money after paying in full for a bike that was never delivered, losing over £3000 in the bargain.

What do you think? Would you be prepared to hand over money for a Norton? Maybe you already have? Let us know...
