Motorcycle Live is back for 2021 with December date set
Motorcycle Live has been given the go-ahead for 2021, with a December date set for the event
MOTORCYCLE LIVE has been tentatively given the green light for 2021, as the organisers announce the show between the 4th and 12th of December.
After the anti-climax that was Motorcycle Live Online in 2020, fans of the NEC-based motorcycle show will be pleased to see the date being added back onto the motorcycle calendar.
The question does still remain around which motorcycle manufacturers will attend the famous event. With KTM and BMW withdrawing from the EICMA show in Milan in 2020, and with motorcycle sales pretty much flying in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the lack of live events, is there still value in having motorcycle shows.
We recently saw Suzuki launch its Global Motorcycle Salon, a virtual motorcycle show that anyone, anywhere can attend. When firms are ploughing marketing and PR budget into their own virtual shows, will they then want to fork out again for stand space in the NEC?
The organisers of the event certainly think so, with Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of Motorcycle Live, commenting:
“We’re excited to welcome visitors back to the NEC, for what is already shaping up to be a fantastic show. To be able to offer something to look forward to will see us end the year on a high – where once again two-wheel fans can be together to soak up the first major show in the UK for two years. The 2021 event promises a real treat – something everyone deserves.”
