A new Ducati dealer has opened in Bournemouth, becoming the first dealer of the Bologna brand in Dorset.

The new Ducati Bournemouth dealership was opened on Sunday 30 April, where several stars of the Italian manufacturer were present in the event which was open to the public. These stars included former factory Ducati WorldSBK rider and current ERC Ducati Endurance World Championship rider Chaz Davies, an ex-Troy Bayliss BSB-spec 1998 GSE Racing Ducati 916, and the 2023 motorcycle roster from Ducati.

Davies himself was part of a Q&A session hosted by Eurosport WorldSBK commentator Greg Haines, and will be back on WorldSBK duties this weekend in Barcelona as the rider coach for the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team which is currently leading the 2023 WorldSBK championship with reigning champion Alvaro Bautista, and the WorldSSP championship with ex-Moto2 rider Nicolo Bulega..

Over in Spain on Sunday, Ducati won its second MotoGP race of the season, courtesy of Francesco Bagnaia’s victory in the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix; and the race was shown live in the new Bournemouth dealership, where Fabrizio Cazzoli, Managing Director of Ducati UK, was also present.
