VALENTINO ROSSI completed his second day of testing for the Ferrari Formula 1 team at the Circuit de Catalunya, today.
The nine-time motorcycle world champion tested Ferrari's 2008 F1 machine on slick and treaded tyres, following yesterday's spin in slippery, cold conditions.
Rossi completed more than 600km of testing on Thursday, finishing the day with a best time of 1:21.900.
To put that in perspective: Brazilian Rubens Barrichello set last year's fastest race lap of 1:22.762 and Jenson Button's pole position time of 1:20.527.
So, yes, the boy's bloody quick!
Rossi was joined by Ferrari's Felipe Massa in the afternoon; the Brazilian F1 regular is testing the team's 2010 car on Friday. Massa is returning to F1 full-time this season, following his near fatal accident during qualifying for the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix
