Rare Honda RCV 213 V-S for sale on eBay

IT’S NOT often that a Honda RCV 213 V-S comes up for sale, and it’s hardly surprising, with less than 130 in existence.

But this little peach has popped up on eBay, offered for an astronomical £219,995.00 by Craigs Honda. The road legal Moto GP Bike is number 007, and is brand new and unregistered no less!

The RCV 213V-S's reputation precedes it – a 170kg MotoGP bike for the road, with a 159hp ultra-compact 90° V4 motor based on that of the original RCV 213 V, first seen in 2012.

When launched in 2015 it was priced at £137,000, more than £80,000 less than the example we see here. This bike does come with an HRC Race Kit, charger, indoor cover, front and rear stands and two key fobs (for its keyless ignition), but that still doesn’t quite justify the huge premium.

But beggars can’t be choosers (perhaps the wrong phrase here), and with so few RCV 213 V-S models around, and even fewer for sale, this is a very rare opportunity indeed.

Viewing is of course available via appointment only, and worldwide delivery can be arranged. The ad even says that part exchange is welcome, although I doubt my CBR600rr5 would make a dent in that huge sum…
