Filming for the new ‘Isle of Man’ movie to begin at the 2026 TT
The new ‘Isle of Man’ movie starring Channing Tatum will begin filming at this year’s TT Races.

The new ‘Isle of Man’ movie is set to play a major role at the 2026 TT Races, with famous Hollywood stars set to appear.
The ‘Isle of Man’ movie is being produced by, among others, Brad Pitt, while Channing Tatum will star in the new film. It will also mark the second racing-based project that Pitt has been involved with in the last couple of years, after the American actor starred in the new ‘F1 the Movie’ film.
The new film is inspired by the TT Races, however, it will also show off the island’s unique roads, landscapes and character to a larger audience.
The film forms part of a wider package that’s been picked up by Amazon MGM Studios, which also features a docuseries that was filmed during the 2024 Isle of Man TT Races.
Paul Phillips, Head of Motorsport at the Department for Enterprise, said this about the new TT film:
“The TT has an extraordinary story to tell, and what makes this so authentic is that filming begins at the event itself, capturing the real environment, with the real atmosphere, and against the backdrop of the Isle of Man.
“The reach of a project like this goes far beyond motorsport. It creates a new opportunity for the Isle of Man and a chance to connect the TT, and the place that makes it possible, with entirely new audiences around the world. But just as importantly, it’s a chance to show new audiences around the world what makes this event so incredible.”
While filming for the new movie will be one of the main attractions, it won’t take away from the 2026 TT, which could be one of the most competitive events in recent years.

Michael Dunlop, a 33-time winner around the TT course, has confirmed he will race a Ducati Panigale V4 R in the 1,000cc classes, alongside a Panigale V2 in the supersport class. Dean Harrison, Davey Todd and Peter Hickman will also be looking to contend for victories across the different classes.
