If you ride all year and don’t fancy wet socks or sore feet, Eleveit’s touring range might be worth a look. The latest touring range comprises four boots: Venom E-Dry, Antelao E-Dry, Proton E-Dry and Neutron E-Dry. Each is built with one job in mind: To keep you protected and comfortable while the road disappears under your wheels.

The common thread is the E-Dry waterproof membrane, pressure-tested under flex for over an hour while submerged. That should be they’ll keep the rain out, even when the heavens open and you still have 150 miles left to go. The high-tech membrane is breathable too, meaning they shouldn’t steam up from the inside, keeping your feet warmer and more comfortable.

There are four new styles, each with different levels of protection and adjustability, but the same goal. Whether you’re commuting, touring, or chasing a winter sunrise, ride without the nagging worry of wet feet or flimsy ankle support.

Venom E-Dry

The Venom E-Dry is the flagship in the range, and is suitable for the odd gravel detour and long motorway hauls. Flexible front panels let the ankle move naturally, hopefully preventing pinch points or clunky walking. The suede/microfibre upper sheds water, and the wide fit with Extreme Light sole means big days in the saddle don’t feel quite so big - for your feet, at least.

Named after a mountain and built for long days on twisty roads, the Antelao E-Dry features a flexible microfibre upper that is joined by built-in ankle protection, and the Free Lock System closure – a rear dial you can adjust even with gloves on.

The dual-compound sole holds on in the wet, and the breathability should mean you’re not cooking when the sun does make an appearance.

Proton E-Dry / Neutron E-Dry

The Proton (high-cut) and Neutron (mid-cut) are the most stripped-back boots in the Elevit touring range, with fewer bells and whistles. You do get microfibre construction, abrasion protection where it matters, and a lining that stops your feet getting swampy when the temperature swings.

The Proton gets a zip and wide Velcro panel for quick entry, while the Neutron uses twin Velcro straps – one over the ankle for a more tailored fit, and one on the instep for security. Both use Eleveit’s three-component rubber sole for grip and stability on wet or uneven ground.

  • Price: Proton €189.99 / Neutron €179.99
  • Sizes: 36–47
  • Colour: Black
