Buell Motorcycles is Back in the UK: Here are the Models We are Getting
Buell Motorcycles is officially back in the UK market, with the American brand confirming the news and stating which models are to arrive first
Following on from the news that Buell Motorcycles had released some specs for both the Super Cruiser and SuperTouring 1190 models, the storied American bike maker has just confirmed it is making a return to the UK.
The move has come about thanks to a strategic partnership with Rainbow Moto, a small motorcycle shop in Newton Abbot, Devon. RM’s current stock includes new bikes from Benelli, MGB, and Sur-Ron. Adding the Buell name to its business is a big move for the business, making Buell by far the most premium brand currently within its fold.
The press release from Buell also gives us an idea of what bikes we can expect and when, with the shipment of Hammerhead 1190 and 1190SX models already travelling across the Atlantic towards the UK. Those bikes should land in Southampton by the end of this month.
Speaking about the news, Ian Johnson and Christine Fairhurst, Owners of Rainbow Moto, said:
“We at Rainbow Moto & Re-Charge Café … are overjoyed to finally announce our partnership with Buell Motorcycles, with the first shipment of bikes arriving before the end of May
“This partnership marks the return of Buell to the UK and Europe after being absent for nearly 15 years. Rainbow Moto and Re-Charge Café will be hosting a launch weekend to mark this collaboration (Freedom United) on the 7th & 8th June 2025, where everyone can finally join in the return of this marque”.
Following the initial shipment of bikes, Buell plans to increase inventory in subsequent deliveries to meet anticipated demand. The press release also states that a date will be set to introduce the Super Cruiser and SuperTouring models to the UK public via the team at Rainbow Moto.
