Provec Racing, which is a central figure behind the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team in World Superbike, has just revealed a new 212bhp superbike that you can actually buy.

The new Rimini Elite produces 15hp more than the standard KB998 Rimini, which is an increase of 7.5 per cent. As well as the improved power figures, the limited-edition model has also trimmed 16.7kg from its overall weight. That means the fully race-tuned KB998 Rimini Elite now has a curb weight of 176kg.

Premium parts are found all throughout the bike, including Brembo brakes, suspension from Showa, an Akrapovic exhaust system, and Pirelli tyres. According to Bimota, the electronics package has been developed by Mectronik and includes a 2D telemetry system featuring track-optimised software with multiple mapping options, and an advanced configuration for traction control, ignition and engine braking.

As part of its journey to this point, the KB998 Rimini Elite has been heavily tested by the team’s development rider Xavi Forés, and full-time WorldSBK riders Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani.

The KB998 Rimini Elite also competed in the final round of the 2025 ESBK Spanish Superbike Championship at Jerez, where former MotoGP rider Tito Rabat finished on the podium in its first and only official race entry.

Now, in order to buy this bike there are two things you should know. Firstly, it is limited to just five units in the world. Secondly, the Rimini Elite comes with a price of €99,800 (Excl VAT), which converts to around £87,000.

But if you’re quick enough, and can stomach the eye-watering price tag, then it’s also worth knowing that delivery of a KB998 Rimini Elite includes an exclusive track experience with the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team, where you will ride alongside WorldSBK riders Lowes and Bassani, as well as Forés and Rabat.

Owners of the new KB998 Rimini Elite will also benefit from direct technical support from the Provec run Bimota team, including setup and on-track performance. VIP guest hospitality at WorldSBK rounds is also included.
