Alpinestars has launched a new range of adventure and long-distance riding gear under the name All Terra. The collection is the result of the company’s in-house development programme and includes new and updated jackets aimed at riders tackling a variety of terrain and weather conditions.

The All Terra range has been developed using feedback from riders across multiple continents and riding environments. According to Alpinestars, the gear has been tested in conditions ranging from jungle humidity to high-altitude cold and desert heat, with the aim of offering consistent performance in varying climates.

Key features include the integration of the company’s Plasma protection system, which is compatible with Alpinestars’ Tech-Air airbag technology, along with a focus on airflow, fit, and durability. The materials used are a combination of textiles designed to strike a balance between abrasion resistance, comfort, and weatherproofing.

The Spring 2025 collection includes updates to two existing jackets—the Andes Air Drystar and the ST-7 2L Gore-Tex—as well as two new models: the ST-2 Air and the Stella ST-2 Air, the latter aimed at female riders. All jackets are designed to offer modular weather protection, with adjustable ventilation and waterproofing features.

Speaking about the design process, Alpinestars product developer Robert Keathley said the team’s goal was to minimise distractions for riders by improving fit and protection. “We’re trying to solve the problems that exist that people don't even know about,” he said, pointing to in-house testing as a key part of the development process.

Australian rider and filmmaker Adam Reimann, who has tested the gear on an 11-day, 7,000km ride across Australia, noted that the new Tech-Air 5 Plasma system was unobtrusive in use, saying: “Most of the time, I forgot it was even there.”

Former motocross and supercross champion Ricky Johnson also weighed in, saying the adjustability of the All Terra kit allowed him to adapt quickly to changes in weather: “If you're hot, you can open it up. If you're cold or it’s raining, you can seal it.”

The All Terra range is available now. More information can be found on the official website.
