AGV leans heavily on MotoGP tech with new Pista GP RR Mono White helmet
AGV has officially launched the new Pista GP RR Mono White helmet, which blends a carbon fibre construction with MotoGP technology.

Unveiled as a limited-edition model, AGV’s new Pista GP RR Mono White gets a UK price of £1,250, a 100 per cent carbon fibre construction, and technology derived from MotoGP.

The helmet has also been carefully developed in order to meet the current ECE 22.06 and DOT safety standards. While the shell has been made exclusively from carbon fibre materials, that hasn’t stopped the exterior giving off a lovely glossy white appearance.

If you didn’t already know, the AGV Pista GP RR is positioned as the company’s premium race helmet, and is currently used by several MotoGP riders.
The helmet brand was arguably made famous by nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi, who wore Pista GP RR helmets for much of his career. After building a VR46 academy full of talented Italian riders, the helmet maker unsurprisingly became a big hit with many of his pupils.
The Pista GP RR features an Optical Class 1, 5mm-thick Ultravision visor that serves as an integral part of the helmet's protective shield, while providing a panoramic 190-degree horizontal and 85-degree vertical field of view at the same time.

The helmet can also be personalised by each rider, thanks to the interior, which features a 360-degree Adaptive Fit system. This allows riders to fully customise areas such as comfort, positioning, and the thickness of the upper pad, nape, and cheek pads to match the shape of their head.
A rapid hydration system, again developed with input from MotoGP riders, completes the lid’s track-ready package. Additionally, the helmet weighs just 1,450 grams.
The limited-edition helmet has officially been launched for the North American market, although you can find it on the official AGV UK website.
