MotoGP announces 22-round calendar in 2026 with Brazil making its return
Brazil is officially back on the MotoGP calendar and will make its return as part of a 22-race schedule in 2026.

MotoGP officials have confirmed every venue for the 2026 season, with Brazil making its return to the calendar for the first time since 2004.
The 2026 campaign will feature a total of 22 rounds (44 races including sprints), and the Brazilian Grand Prix has been pencilled in as round two of the season on 22 March, subject to circuit homologation.
Kicking off the 2026 season will be the Thai MotoGP on March 1. The Brazilian Grand Prix will then follow at the Ayrton Senna circuit in Goiania. It will be followed by the American Grand Prix in Texas, on March 29.
Making its debut on the 2025 MotoGP calendar next month is the Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary, which will again feature in 2026.
The rest of the 2026 calendar remains very similar to this year’s schedule, although there is another change as the Argentinian round has been removed.
MotoGP will instead head back to Argentina in 2027 when Buenos Aires takes over hosting duties from the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit.
After being moved to May this year, the British GP returns to its traditional slot, taking place between August 7 and 9.
The 2026 season will conclude with the Valencian MotoGP. The Spanish circuit returns to its role of season finale in 2025, after being replaced by Barcelona in 2024 due to floods.
