2026 KTM 890 Adventure R Rally specs, details and features
KTM has revealed the new 890 Adventure R Rally, which builds on the standard model by adding a more factory flavour.

KTM’s mid-capacity adventure range is now headlined by the new 2026 890 Adventure R Rally, which is set to cost UK customers £19,299.
It should come as no surprise that the new machine is a more performance-based motorcycle compared to the 890 Adventure R model, as it’s inspired by the Austrian company’s Dakar racing programme.
KTM says the new model is made for those that want “factory-level suspension, rally-spec ergonomics and uncompromising hardware straight from the showroom”.

Suspension is handled, as you would expect from KTM, by WP, with a lightweight Xplor Pro fork found up front. The system uses Cone Valve technology, while the rear features a WP Xplor Pro shock absorber. Travel is boosted at both ends of the bike compared with the 890 Adventure R, moving from 240mm up to 270mm.
At the heart of the Rally edition is an 889cc parallel twin engine that produces 104bhp and 74Ib-ft of torque. The new bike comes with off-road ABS, multiple ride modes including Rally Mode, Traction Control and Motor Slip Regulation, which allows riders to fine-tune performance on the fly via its five-inch TFT display, which also features a Connectivity Unit and Turn-by-Turn+ navigation.

To give the bike a true racing feel, KTM has opted to dress the 890 Adventure R Rally in a Red Bull KTM Factory Racing-inspired design. Additionally, it also comes as standard with a slip-on Akrapovic exhaust system.
The new model benefits from KTM’s Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty scheme, giving riders up to four years of coverage. The 890 Adventure R Rally is available in limited numbers worldwide, so UK customers will need to act fast if they want to own one of the Dakar-inspired machines.
