Italjet adds new Dragster 459 Twin to 2026 range
Italjet has revealed a smaller sibling to its recently launched Dragster 700 Twin at EICMA.

Italjet has revealed a second 2026 model at EICMA, with the new Dragster 459 Twin joining the Roadster 400 in making its public debut.
The Dragster 459 arrives as the second model positioned within the Twin range, after the Dragster 700 variant was revealed earlier this year.

Italjet’s Dragster 459 Twin receives a 449cc, liquid-cooled inline twin-cylinder engine, which produces a claimed 46.9bhp at 9,500rpm and 30.2 Ib-ft of torque at 8,000rpm.

If you know a thing or two about Italjet, then you will know that its scooters are far from conventional. The high-spec Roadster 400 is a true example of that, as it benefits from Ohlins suspension and twin Akrapovic exhaust pipes.
But that’s also true about the new Dragster 459 Twin, which like its bigger 700 sibling, has a very sporty presence about it.

The new Dragster 459 Twin features two functions that have particularly caught our eye, the first being its SmartShift automatic transmission. Italjet says the new configuration “underscores the model’s sporting character and its mission to deliver pure, engaging riding emotion in every environment”.
Adding the SmartShift (Intelligent Automatic Transmission) system to the Dragster 459 Twin will allow riders to swap between automatic and manual riding. Italjet has also given its new Dragster the ISAS (Italjet Stiffness Adjustment System) treatment, which means riders can fine-tune rear suspension rigidity for different riding conditions.

The company says this feature is “inspired by MotoGP technology and refined exclusively by Italjet”.
The Dragster 459 Twin will be available to buy worldwide from March 2026, with an estimated retail price of €9,900 (including VAT), which is around £8,700.
