The Clarke CBB217BGC HD Plus 7 Drawer Tool Cabinet is a premium, classy tool chest for the home mechanic, at an affordable price.
A quality, multi-drawer tool cabinet is a wishlist dream for most home mechanics but is often assumed to be out of financial reach. But thankfully, due to Machine Mart, a premium example loaded with features is available from their Clarke range.
It’s called the Clarke CBB217BGC HD Plus 7 Drawer Tool Cabinet has a raft of extra features which elevate it above the standard range – hence the black and gold premium styling – yet still costs a very affordable £323.98.
Its basic spec’ is as a seven-drawer, wheeled, base cabinet which can then be paired with a variety of other premium black and gold cabinets, such as the CBB209BGC Tool Chest, pictured.
The heavy-duty design means it is engineered with extra heavy gauge, double wall steel construction with reinforced base; it rides on four five-inch industrial spoke castor wheels (with two fixed and two swivel with brake) for easy manoeuvrability; there’s one elliptical plated side handle (which can be fitted either side). The cabinet is 758mm x 468mm x 975mm and weighs 47.7kg.
The drawers themselves, meanwhile, comprise five shallower drawers measuring 584mm x 380mm x 73mm and two deeper ones measuring 584mm x 380mm x 152mm, all featuring multi ball bearing runners for a super smooth sliding action and single key lock security.
