Thieves Fail to Steal Itchy Boots’ Motorcycle in Wales
Noraly Schoenmaker, best known as Itchy Boots, was in Wales for a book signing when her Yamaha Tenere 700 was stolen before being found in bushes

Motorcycle theft remains a huge problem in the UK, and famous YouTuber Noraly Schoenmaker, best known on the web as Itchy Boots, found that out on her visit to Swansea, Wales, during a book signing.
The seasoned motorcycle traveller, who documents all of her journeys, has been loaned a Tenere 700 by Yamaha Europe, which was already stolen during her trip to Iraq just a few months ago.
Luckily, the Dutch blogger managed to recover the bike, which was saved by being fitted with a tracker, which is again what came to her aid during the theft attempt in Wales.
The YouTube star has over 2.8 million subscribers on her channel and was in Swansea last week as part of a book signing event, when the bike was initially taken from the hotel car park where she was staying.
With the AirTag tracking device still on the bike, Schoenmaker headed towards a blue van nearby, thinking the bike had been stolen by the owners of that vehicle, although the bike was not in the van.
After alerting the hotel and asking them to call the police, hotel workers helped find the bike, which was located in some bushes near the van.
Through the help of the hotel staff, Schoenmaker was able to retrieve the bike from the bushes, however, the bike had already suffered a bit of damage. The number plate was broken, her seat was ripped out, while there was also damage to the rear view mirrors, and some scratches along with the bike.
After receiving CCTV footage from the hotel, it was clear that a man had scoped out the area and the bike prior to the theft, before thieves returned that same night to try and steal the bike. Schoenmaker admitted she couldn’t make out the number plate or the face of the guy who checked out the bike after arriving on a moped.
In the end, all that was stolen was the bike’s cover, although it could have been much worse.
