Plymouth-based motorcycle dealer Macpherson Motorcycles is currently offering major price reductions on a brand-new LiveWire S2 Alpinista and S2 Mulholland.

The Alpinista starts with a UK price of £17,390, but this Christmas it can be had for just £9,995 if bought through the dealer. That would be quite the present to yourself; however, the Mulholland model is reduced even further.

Starting at £17,890, Macpherson Motorcycles is now offering the bike for a price of just £8,999, meaning you could save £8,891.

The chassis and motor is shared with another member of the S2 family, which is the Del Mar. If you’re interested in knowing more about that model, check out our LiveWire S2 Del Mar review.

Both the Alpinista and Mulholland can be viewed in the dealer’s showroom, although there is just one Alpinista left in stock so customers will need to be quick if they want to take advantage of the huge savings.

The Alpinista comes with a city range of 120 miles, which drops to a claimed 71 miles on the highway. 0-60mph can be achieved in just three seconds, according to LiveWire, with the bike also producing 82 bhp and 194 Ib-ft of torque.

Showa handles suspension duties with fully adjustable 43mm inverted forks up front. At the rear is a Showa monoshock with progressive linkage, adjustable preload and rebound damping. The high-spec setup continues with Brembo brakes both front and rear.

The Mulholland produces the same 120-mile range in the city as the Alpinista, although its claimed range for highway riding increases ever so slightly to 73 miles. It also delivers 82bhp and 194 Ib-ft of torque, however, getting from 0-60mph takes a slightly longer 3.3 seconds.

Suspension and braking aboard the Mulholland is the same as the Alpinista, as is its 4-inch TFT colour display.
