WHAT A difference a couple of seasons can make: It wasn't that long ago that Lorenzo Lanzi was a golden-boy works factory Ducati rider and team-mate to Troy Bayliss. Now the DFX Corse team have told him that there's not enough money in the pot to fund his racing at this weekend 's Nurburgring round of the 2009 WSB series.
Lanzi has apparently been promised a bike and mechanics will be made available for the next round at Imola on September 27 but for this weekend's racing in Germany for round 12 of the WSB championship it will only be Fonsi Nieto out for the DFX squad.
