BMW MOTORRAD has just unveiled the official safety bike for this year’s MotoGP season, a tricked-out 2015 S1000RR in BMW racing colours.

The 199hp superbike looks relatively stock apart from a few performance accessories from BMW’s High Performance (HP) range.

It has new HP rearsets, BMW’s Gearshift Assist Pro that lets you upshift and downshift without using the clutch or throttle, and the HP clutch and brake lever set.

The mid-fairing and rear fender has also been replaced with carbon fibre parts.
