MotoGP 2023 the game lands this week

THE official video game of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship will launch this week on the eve of the Italian GP at Mugello - Thursday the 8th of June.

The latest instalment of the franchise features a host of new races, new racers, and the new Sprint format races all at the player's fingertips. The latest generation Ducati MotoE bikes are also available to ride, be it in career mode or in the online multiplayer lobby.

A couple of new features in career mode are worth a mention, as both Turning Point and a fictional in-game social network make an appearance. Turning Point offers players the chance to deviate from their career path and shape their bike development, and is based on the decisions and results the player achieves in the game. It’s powered by AI as is the in-game social network that allows the player to big up, or cut down their rivals. The social network is powered by the on-track interactions that the player has, meaning if you block-pass the championship leader just after they have lapped you, expect to get some hate in the fictional comments section!

Another new feature of the game is ever-changing dynamic weather, which itself introduces flag-to-flag races to the game. This change means you have to judge the precise moment to dive into the pits and then make the call based on your speed and the conditions.

The online multiplayer option in MotoGP 2023 the game includes a crossplay option, allowing console players (Not PC or Nintendo Switch) to battle it out against each other.

More information on the game and how to download or buy it can be found on the official website.
