MOTOGP exile Toni Elias may not make the inaugural round of the Moto2 championship, at Qatar in a fortnight's time, after the Spaniard sustained injuries in a testing crash on Monday.
Elias, who will ride for Team Gresini in the 2010 Moto2 Championship, was treated for fractures on his left ankle and the little finger of his left hand.
The Spaniard has already started rehabilitation under the guidance of Ricard Huélamo, Director of Sports Physiotherapy at the Telkon Medical Centre.
It is not known whether Elias will be fit for opening round of the season, which starts in Qatar, on April 11th.
