Dutch MotoGP - Warm-up Results
Warm-up results from the 2019 Dutch MotoGP at Assen, round 8 of 19.
Vinales continues Yamaha's strong Assen form by being fastest during morning warm-up for the Dutch MotoGP.
Can the factory go on to claim its first win of the season this afternoon?
Yamaha won't get a better chance on paper, with Vinales or Petronas pole qualifier Quartararo quickest in every 'full' session this weekend (neither took part in Qualifying 1).
Both Vinales and Quartararo used medium front and hard rear tyres in warm-up, with Dovizioso showing signs of progress in second place for Ducati.
But there was no obvious breakthrough for Rossi, who has qualified just 14th and was only 13th best this morning, on soft tyres.
Title leader Marquez tried the hard and then soft rear tyres. Rins, who will start between Quartararo and Vinales on the front row, was fifth for Suzuki.
Jorge Lorenzo has been ruled out of the remainder of the Assen event, and next weekend's German round, after fractures to his vertebrae during FP1 on Friday.
