Phoenix Motorcycle Training is predicting a big resurgence for motorcycling in the UK this year, while also revealing new plans of its own.

The UK’s largest and highest rated training provider, owned by Mark Jaffe, put 5,608 people through their CBTs in 2025. 1,680 people successfully completed their full motorcycle licence training, while another 501 people enrolled onto the company’s Advanced Rider Training courses.

Now, Phoenix Motorcycle Training has opened a new facility in Peterborough and has plans to open in another location soon. The new centre in Peterborough takes the total of Phoenix training centres to 22.

The new venue is located just five miles away from Peterborough’s city centre, and is close to local bus routes. According to a press release from the motorcycle training school, the new site covers the city of Peterborough as well as Fletton, Yaxley, Wansford, Werrington, Stamford, Sawtry, Corby and Wisbech.

Jaffe, owner and chief instructor at Phoenix Motorcycle Training, said this about opening the new facility:

“We are delighted to be opening the new training centre in Peterborough. This will enable us to introduce more people to life on two wheels, as well as give existing riders further training to make them even more skilled and safe on the roads. 2026 looks to be a great year for motorcycling!”

Monthly motorcycle sales in 2025 often showed signs of struggles compared to the same time frame in previous years, but the school is expecting interest in entry-level motorcycles to be very high in 2026.

The new centre is already up and running, and online booking is also available on the official Phoenix Motorcycle Training website.
