New BMW F900 GS seat from Touratech features three height options

Touratech’s long list of new adventure-based products for 2026 has continued, with the BMW F900 GS next to benefit from new accessories.

Adventure motorcycle equipment specialist Touratech has revealed a new range of accessories for the BMW F900 GS, including a foam padded seat that is available in three different height options.

BMW says the new seat is designed to improve comfort both on- and off-road, whether that’s long-distance journeys, or when riding through “tough terrain”.

The new one-piece seat features a multi-layer foam core, which is nothing new when it comes to Touratech seats. However, all three seats have foams that are individually matched to the seat height chosen.

The new material structure is “slip-resistant, waterproof, easy to care for, and designed for use in changing weather conditions”, according to Touratech.

The patented Fresh Touch material allows for lower surface heating when exposed to sunlight, which claims to be “10 degrees Celsius cooler than conventional seat covers”. The new seat is available in Low, Standard, and High options, and all three sizes come with the same price of £437.

As well as the new seat options, Touratech has revealed a new toolbox accessory that can be attached to the bike’s pannier rack.

The new bit of kit is made from plastic and stainless steel, and offers up to 4.2-litres of storage space. It comes with a price of £131.

The F900 GS, both globally and in the UK, was not the most popular model from the GS range in 2025. That accolade instead went the way of its R1300 GS and R1300 GS Adventure siblings, which dominated the company’s overall sales numbers.

The F900 GS, along with the F800 GS, serves as a bridge between the new F450 GS and the above-mentioned 1,300cc machines. This also means the reveal of these new products, such as a one-piece seat, is particularly interesting because it could lead to similar products arriving in the future for the new F450 GS.
